Solution Focused Psychotherapy is future oriented:The type of psychotherapy I practise is ‘Solution Focused Therapy techniques’ and is designed to reduce anxiety and calm the mind. As the name suggests it focuses on solutions for the future, rather than analysing problems of the past.
I use elements of CBT skills, and neuroscience to give you the tools and knowledge to help you regain control of your emotions, thoughts, behaviours and feelings.
Provided you are willing to make changes to the way you think, the therapy can be highly effective in relieving the symptoms of anxiety and stress.
Focusing on solutions means that although we do acknowledge problems at the start of your treatment, we do not need to dwell on problems of the past in order to move forwards.
Instead we:

- Identify where you want to be
- Help you to make the necessary changes
